Chief J.K. or Doug, Wasn't that a grocery store/mini mart back in the 80's ?
Memory.... I believe so. I grew up on the other side of Middle Village a few blocks from 319. I really didn't go over that way unless we had a run in Maspeth which is now known as Middle Village. Eliot Ave to the LIE South side 69 St to Woodhaven Blv

I lived on 70th Street and Juniper Blvd So. I believe it was named Paramount. A kind of Italian Supermarket. At one time there was also a gym on the second floor.IMG_0988.png

Thanks Rich, Doug and Chief. I knew it was something prior to a pizzeria such as a market. I honestly did forget about the gym until you mentioned it.

Grew up on 81st Street btwn the LIE and 58th Avenue, our box was 4289. Thanks for the “neighborhood memories!”
I grew up at E 319 from 1959 to 2019.
I lived on the middle class, lol, of Middle Village, on 78 St & 69 Ave ( Metropolitan Ave was the line between the high class and Middle class ) .,.. I moved out of the neighborhood after 70 years in March 2024 and now live in Baldwin, Fla....

I grew up in Glendale at 76 St & 78 ave and spent much of my youth hanging out at Juniper Valley Park. Moved out at 16 years old in 1986 and then went back in the early 90's and worked as a paramedic at SJQH. Used to sit at Juniper Valley Park again working on 44A.

Phillies used to be upstairs, west coast video was on the first floor before Phillies moved down. Also was a hair salon.
Late 90s it was a mini mart than turned into a restaurant. It’s changed hands many times over the year with Phillies being the longest tenant
