Report of AH was made about 1hr45mins. into event, ie. @4:20pm. All searches had already been made and were negative. Two lines were stretched but no longer in use.
Two-story irregular used as a Gym. Fire was in basement. Basement was flooded.
Con Ed/DEP/Housing/OEM all requested.
Div. 8 released Res. 5/ Squad 1 at 4;50pm. (Report of subway incident involving two people under a train)
245, 318, 166, 246 additional , 153 F.A.S.T. 161 may have come from another location.
@5:20PM Div. 8 reports arcing in electrical box and Con Ed must cut power leaving 280 residents w/o power. Elevators cleared to the lobby. Checking for any residents using medical equipment on electricity. This job started at 2:30PM, so DoB is 2hrs. 50mins.
@5:30pm Div. 8 requested Red Cross due to the now blacked out building.
@5:38ppm Div. 8 reports power off and arcing has stopped. Made it UC and DoB is 3hrs.12mins.
