@1542: 75-27: Batt. 45 reports using all hands for a fire at 72 Green Street, near Franklin Street.  Fire on the second floor of a five story frame, 25 x 50, OMD, one line stretched and in  operation, second line being stretched, searches in progress, fire is doubtful.

Engines 238, 258, 259   Ladders 106, 128  Batt. 45
Ladder 146 (fast truck), Engine 229, Div. 11, Rescue 4, Squad 252


@1545: Batt. 45: exposures: 1- street, 2- 3 story frame attached, 3- unknown, 4- 3 story frame attached.

@1547: Div. 11 reports fire knocked down, change fire building to a 4 story frame with fire on the second floor, fire still doubtful.

@1547: Ladder 111 acting Ladder 146 is 10-8.

@1551: Div.11: primary searches negative throughout, fire is probably will hold, fire duration is 20 minutes.

@1554: Div. 11: secondary searches complete and negative, fire is under control.  Fire duration is 23 minutes.
 
Does Rescue 4 normally cover this box?  Or was R2 working?  They were on the other Brooklyn box at Schermerhorn.
 
Engine 215: now there's someone with a good memory.  Engine 212 could have been on the 10-75 if they were still around.
 
. Unfourtunately with 2 Queens companies covering that area of Greenpoint  E-212 might have gone as an additional engine. E-213 would not have been on that box unless it went to 2nd Alarm. They need to re-do them box assignments E-229 and L-146 can beat the Queens companies in with out hauling ass.
