@1057: 10-75-3367 by Batt. 33 for a fire on the roof of a PD located at 1869 East 4th Street, near Kings Highway.

Engines 276, 254, 330  Ladders 156, 153  Batt. 33

Engine 253 (4th due), Ladder 172 (fast truck), Squad 1, Rescue 2, Batt. 42., Div. 15

@1103: Batt. 33 reports fire on the second floor of a 3 brick 20 x 60, two lines stretched with one line in operation, fire has been knocked down, primary searches negative, fire is probably will hold, return all special units, fast truck is already on the scene.  Rescue 2 and Squad 1, and Batt. 42 are 10-8.

@1108: Batt. 33: all primary and secondary searches are negative, fire is under control.  Fire duration is 15 minutes.

That's a tough call because this location is just south of Midwood, northwest of Homecrest and inside of the Gravesend 11223 zipcode. ;)

I agree. The better known areas are used generically often times. People don't generally say I'm from Gravesend - they're usually more inclined to say Flatbush since it more recognized. Like in the frontier in Queens they don't say Auburndale or Oakland Gardens - they say Bayside
