35th Ave. between 125th & 126th St. (across from 126-20 35th Ave.)
BN-52 gave 10-75 from a few blocks away due to large column of smoke
Fire in a large construction trailer
L-130 (FAST)
BN-52..PWH..18:13

Engines 273, 289, 289, 316
Trucks 129, 138, 130 FAST
Bn 52 and 53
R-4, Sq-270 on the All Hands as 288 was in Manhattan.

I looked up at the TV and saw the smoke just after we transmitted the box, and told my Decision Dispatcher, "Ya better put that fourth Engine on and add Rescue. I think we got a job there."
Then calls from other bosses asking me if I had the Mets game on.

8/20/11 - Queens All-Hands Box 9311

Address: 126 Street & 35 Avenue, Flushing, NY

Initial Ticket: E273, E316, E289, L129, TL138, BN52
10-75 Assignment: E274, L130 (FAST), R4, SQ270, BN46 (10-75 Chief), DIV14, RAC4

Fully-involved mobile construction trailer with surrounding contents burning.  BN52 requested a FAST truck and 10-75 Chief as soon as they turned onto Northern Blvd off Murray Street; the dispatcher automatically transmitted the 10-75 with that request (the 52 did not transmit it).  BN52 asked the dispatcher to make sure a TL was assigned to the box.  The column of black smoke could be seen from 2 miles away.  This fire was in the empty lot directly behind the building where the 3rd Alarm was on April 1st, 2011 (Box 9305).
