On the night of Sunday, January 22nd, 2023 the Baldwin Fire Department operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Milburn Avenue off Eastern Boulevard. Firefighters stretched two hand lines and put one hand line into operation for a fire on the second floor of a two-story Cape style private dwelling. Freeport was designated the FAST and responded to the scene with Ladder 218. All occupants made it safely out of the residence and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
