According to the Baltimore County Fire Department's Wikipedia page, there are several Balto County and Volunteer Fire Departmentts in Balto City.
Balto County Stations include: 3, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 54, 57, 58 (Medic only)

And 3 Volley Houses, my question is, are the Volley Houses within the City Limits dispatched by BCoFD or BCFD? And do they respond to mutual aid requests from the City Department if they are needed.

All those stations are in Baltimore County and dispatched by County 911.

As Baltimore City has closed companies over last forty years, both Baltimore County (paid and volunteer) and Anne Arundel County have responded or relocated into the City. This usually happens after a third alarm or higher.

FYI: Baltimore County is now bigger (population and FD) than Baltimore City.

There are two cities in the United States that are not in a county...Baltimore and St. Louis.

BFD did take over seven Baltimore County firehouses (becoming Engines 41 through 47) as well as the central fire alarm office at Pumper 10's quarters in Govanstown with the annexation north of North Avenue in 1919.

I believe that Baltimore County now has automatic aid with Carroll and Harford Counties.

At least into the 1960's both the Baltimore County Fire Bureau and County Volunteers offered (depending on availability) EMS transport home from the hospital for their citizens.

In Virginia, EVERY city is not "in" a county. Cities are independent, and not part of any county. Two Virginia cities have in fact swallowed up nearby counties: Hampton (and Phoebus) expanded to include all of Elizabeth City County, and the City of Suffolk annexed all of Nansemond County. So there are more than two US cities that are not in counties.

There are 41, 38 of them being in Virginia. The other 3 are Baltimore, St. Louis and Carson City.

Lol! All well and good. However, I was identifying large, iconic, world known places that were the sole independent city in their respective state (or Commonwealth).....and had Major League Baseball and NFL teams.
