I arrived about an hour into the fire. I started to go early but was then told companies were investigating a smoke condition in the basement so I went back home. After being there about 10 minutes I hear them announce on the radio they are going defensive so I stared that way again. Members on scene told me they were in the basement investigating a smoke condition when conditions rapidly deteriorated. When they made it outside they had fire in the attic with heavy smoke pushing from the building. No injuries to members.
