Sounds like 249 was on a run, and became available. 113 first due giving 10-75 and E 234 first due engine hooking up. Great video

Rescue beat the Squad in. Love that old R2 Mack.

Not much of a contest if Sq.1 & R2 were coming from quarters. R2 is located in E 234's old quarters (2nd due Engine) on Bergen St.

Yeah Squad 1 is about 2.5 miles meanwhile R-2 is a little over 1 mile, assuming they are in quarters.

The video provided a nice front seat view of a run through the streets of crown Heights from St. John's Pl ... also a good view of initial Truck company op's.

Who is the dispatcher in this video? It's cool being inside the truck and hearing, "This is the job" from L 123 officer just as the DISP calls on Bat 38 telling him he's loading up the box with 4-2 rescue and squad.
