In the proby picture above from LAD*26 is also a young now RET BC Jay F.......a million stories about Pat....when he worked in LAD*26 he lived on a rough block in Williamsburg Bklyn by 108 but when he transferred to R*2 in BKLYN he lived on the outskirts of Spanish Harlem in Manhattan.....he always commuted by public transportation or sometimes jogged to work...one day we were in the kitchen in R*2 & over the Manhattan Frequency we heard a report of a woman under a bus on the Manhattan side of the Williamsburg Bridge ...subsequent reports were that she was alive & being removed along with an off duty FF.....about an hour later Pat jogs into the FH all sweaty ...nothing unusual except for the fact that he was also covered in grease & dirt....that was him who dove under the bus.............FF LAD*26...R*1...R*2...LT LAD*28....CPT ENG*69...LAD*3.....GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN .....SEMPER FI !
