The IG has recommended the elimination of 50+ positions on apparatus. I cannot beleive anyone would accept his findings. His recommendations are to eliminate one position,e/l from any company. But this does not apply to high raise companies. This would include B: 1,2,3 Gold Coast area, big bucks, 4 goes there aldot but their district got yuppified. Battalions like 13, 14, 15, 16 need every boot on the ground. 17, 18,19 have high raises mostly senior citizens. And the 20's do not want to sound disrespectful there comes a time when it gets quiet. Plus many CFD FF's live down here, B-24. and many more in Mt Greenwood. BS You live in the city that you protected. After all Daley made you live in the cityHe was a BS mayor, parking meters, etc.
