Commack NY (Suffolk) Working Fire 6/19/22

The Commack Fire Department responded to a house fire at 9 Delaware Avenue in Commack on Sunday June 19, 2022, at 5:00 PM. A fire broke out in a large shed in between two homes extending to the house with radiant heat melting the vinyl siding and cracking windows of a neighbor’s home. One firefighter was injured battling the blaze and transported by Commack Ambulance to an area hospital. Mutual aid companies from Kings Park and Smithtown Fire Departments responded to the scene to assist. The Suffolk Police and Smithtown Town Fire Marshal were on scene investigating the cause.
