Does anyone have information how the commandpost desk is used ?
- I see a lot of unit numbers , are these all the units in de div area ?
- Are they put on the other part of the desk to check which is assigned. Is that just a scheme or maybe some kind of a map?
- I see a Fieldcom member on one picture, does FC operate this desk ? ( I thought FC had something inside their truck )

- Does anyone have a picture of the complete CP desk ?

Peter -- the command board pictured is the one carried by Field Comm.  A smaller version is carried by each division chief.  The unit numbers mentioned are individual magnetic chips which are placed on the main portion of the magnetic white board on a sketch of the building showing specific floors where members are working.  Chips of available but non-committed units are placed along the left side.  Specific functions e.g. Resource Unit Leader, FAST unit, Safety Officer are similarly posted.

The division aide normally manages the division board, which is usually replaced by the Field Comm board on greater alarms.  Field Comm personnel then manage the board.
