I was thinking of working at communications (anyware in the city) i was just wondeing what is the age and do you have to live in the city ??? ::)
 
go to nyc.gov/fdny and click on "Jobs & Employment", you will see the civilian positions. Once the pdf loads, you'll have it all right there. Good luck.
 
On the site it says you have to have 4 years experinces as either an air traffic controler or train controler
