its no big deal or anything but im curious as to why the 2001 ford crown vic is white and a slick top? here is a pic from fdnytrucks.com http://www.fdnytrucks.com/files/html/brooklyn/e207.htm
 
My guess is that is (was?) the messenger vehicle.
That, or since that pic was shot in 2002, might've been a temp replacement for the rig destroyed on 9/11.

i think your right didnt know the 11th div rig was destroyed, what year did they get the vans for the messenger veichle?
 
This would have to be a 9/11 replacement.  EMS used the Chevy's with the white paint job.  After 9/11 FDNY just put strips on a lot of rigs and didn't paint anything.  Remember Brown, Grey, etc SUV's being used by Batt's and EMS.
