I've often wondered why the training cycle for the military firefighters like these is so much shorter than it is for civilian firefighters such as those for FDNY. Granted, they already have all the physical training at other parts of their military training but they have even more hazards than those faced by civilian firefighters. In addition to everything that those in the public domain have for hazards they have the additional hazards of munitions etc. It seems like 68 days is way too little training for the hazards they face
