It's a solicitation for bids for new 2000 gpm pumpers.  Bids are due Nov 2.  Here's a link to the entire bid package if you're interested . . . all 287 pages of it.  :-\

ONE 2000 GPM PUMPER:

Thanks.  l understand the  bid part.  in the above quote,  l  thought  it is  for  "one"  2000 gpm  pumper.  thanks  for  link though.

Actually enjoying lookin at the specs.    Wondreing about  Page  182  #21 Graphics section.  What is the difference  between  the  Gold  &  Yellow  reflective  striping ?    lt  seems  to  read  that  Gold  is on  front  &  sides,  and  yellow  is  on  rear  of  apparatus....  can`t  see  difference  in  colors.

Now l see it  from watching vids.  and  pics.  the rear does look more yellow....

Still can't find out any info as to why this was not awarded yet.  Heard a bunch of rumors as to why, but can't confirm them.  Anyone one have info on this?

Being forced to accept the cheapest bid is ok if your buying copy paper.  But when it comes to equipment that lives depend on to be reliable and up to the task, I think buying the cheapest thing you can get your hands on is foolish.  Past performance should be a factor.  Just sayin!
