FDNY Visit on Youtube

Those Lucky Buffs got to visit some of the firehouses, home to some of the World's Greatest Firefighters the World has ever seen. (81/46, 88/38, 75/33, 43/59 and Rescue 3). It doesn't get much better than that.
 
was on this trip very worth the $40, ive never been inside a fdny house nor communicate much with the members,but dammit some of the friendliest guy you'll ever meet. There was over 100 people and the members took time to answer any question asked. Btw rescue 3 might be ugly from the outside but the inside a diffrent story.
 
anesti: it is pretty nice inside. I was there in January and got a nice tour & got to meet Matt Daly.

I also liked the interior training facilities that were set up. The wall for rappelling and the manhole for confined space.
