Fire house PA system

Does anyone know anything about this red phone and what it does besides being used as a PA system for the fire house? I wanted to try and buy one of these and put one in my house, but I can't find them on Ebay or any other web site. I believe they are made by Purvis, but can't find a pic of them anywhere. Check out frame 224-230 on the YouTube video

The red phone is not a PA system for the firehouse. This phone is used to contact the dispatcher during morning roll call and whenever else needed. The mic that is wired into the red phone is what is used as a PA system for the firehouse.

The next time Richie comes into quarters to fix the system, if I am there I will ask him.....I had his cell number but lost it when my grandkid lost all my contacts..
