Hi ALL,
You may recall my telling you about Bill Lake of Ladder 109. He and I met up after nearly 40 years here in Michigan. A few of you responded to my request of well wishes for him as he was battling cancer. I even received a "house" shirt from Ld 109/En241 to give to him which he deeply appropriated. Bill lost the good fight he put up against his cancer this morning. My day has been truly crappy knowing I didn't get the chance to say good bye to him.
Please keep his family in your thoughts.
