George Herzlinger passed away Sunday August 10th at age 82. Yeah, I know. I'd never heard of the guy either. But we all know what he did. He invented a medical device that. starting with our soldiers on the line in Iraq, is thought to have saved a million lives- so far. The count continues to rise and has lead to further improvements such as EMS now carrying whole blood in the field.
Not many folks in history can claim such a achievement. We are lucky to have people like this in our country.
