What units are the Haz Tac Ambulances. Are they ALS or BLS. Thank you

They are both BLS and ALS. They usually have the identifier of H for BLS or Z for ALS. Example.... 31H is a unit that operates within the BN 31's response area and the H signifies it as haz-tac. And 35Z would respind in BN 35's response area and the Z is it's identifier.

Thank you for your response to my question. H is BLS, Z is ALS. I"ve heard there are about 25 Haz-Tac ambulances. Anybody know what units they are. I think 17H is one.

OK, we know what the units with H and Z designations are but what the heck are the ones with the R designation?  Rescue ambulances?
