On the morning of Friday, June 14th, 2024, the Hicksville Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Layton Avenue off Seymour Lane. Firefighters put one hand line into operation off Hicksville Engine 932 for a fire in the basement of a private dwelling. The cause of the fire is under investigation and all fire department units were under the command of Hicksville Chief of Department DiFronzo [9301]. (Text Credit K2M)
