New Hazmat Tech Units

330" long
4 door cab split tilt
seating for4, rear drop down seat.

I would think they will all.be same like now. Squads are also HMTUs
Also rescue 5

I'm thinking these are the tenders if they only have seating for 4, all the hm engines and squads a have 6 men

It certainly sounds like that.  The normal meaning of all of these companies wouldn't fit in a four-man cab!

bids

That's How Long the Contract Runs for.  The Delivery Could Be Much Sooner Than the End Date but FDNY Could Do an Add-On for Additional Units within That Timeframe without Having to Rebid.

Are all the haz mat tech units getting these rigs or only the engines. Would the the squad firehouses be large enough the have 3 large pieces of equipment fit inside (squad, haz mat tech unit, squad support unit)?

From what I heard just hazmat engines and the guys at HM 1 are also getting another  Ferrara 2nd piece to be used as a spare. Also the squad support units with probaly be oneside for hazmat and other side for rescue.

My guess would be only the engines and that the Squads will carry the needed additional equipment on their support unit.

I doubt it heard the hmtu will look like the new 2nd piece for hazmat 1. People keep mentioning it could be a new scuba unit

Could these be the Haz Mat Tech Support Units?
On the Ferrara website there are 7 of these "in production" at this time.

Just an outsider looking in I wouldn't think they will be the tech units, only because the tech units are generally walk in style so they have the ability to carry 55 gallon drums for disposal of waste etc. I don't see a spot on these where that would work. To be honest I would love to see them end up being RAC units but I doubt the dept is spending this kinda money on them

I'm also an outsider, but this big compartment looks like it would hold at least a couple of 55 gallon drums . . . unless something else is going in there.

The 7 units on Ferraras page are the Squad Support units as mentioned in a previous post.  I believe the new "HazMat" unit in production is the start of the new Hazmat Tech rigs.  Corrections welcome.
