Is the FDNY Staten Island VHF simulcast down?

I noticed last week that when FDNY SI Dispatch was being simulcast across the VHF frequency, it would cut out after about two seconds. It's almost like the repeater battery was failing. Now I don't hear SI on VHF at all (although the Bronx still comes in loud and clear on that frequency).

Did something change and/or is it down for good?

Lately on both my handheld scanner and scanner app, I hear half a box number then it cuts out.

As of 15:23, Staten Island is coming in on both VHF and UHF frequencies, although I didn't get a chance to try and listen when the others said it wasn't working so I can't make a real comparison.

I've been away for the holidays, but have been able to hear Staten Island loud and clear now that I have returned (although they have been real quiet today). Thanks so much.

Its doing again. Firehouse scanner cuts out after about one second.

It seems to be doing it again, though mostly only on the dispatch side and sporadically. I can usually hear a full transmission from the field. If it doesn't cut out, it just becomes static for the remainder of the transmission.
