Bits & pieces from N.Y. Newsday 12-7-10 regarding the FIRE.....Authorities said the Fire all but extinguished was accidentaly started by a 14 year old boy.......the worst fire in Israels history caused widespread Israeli anger & disapointment w/their leaders handling of the Fire which took 42 lives & burned half of one of the countrys most popular forests.....A 53 yo Police Chief was among those killed.....Chief Ahuva Tomer was in her car escorting a busload of prison guards on the way to evacuate prisoners from a jail when her car & the bus were engulfed in flames.... her & 37 on the bus were killed........REST IN PEACE TO ALL.
