Ladder 8's quarters

Does anyone know if ladder 8 is in quarters or did they start the renovation on their house ?
 
They are currently housed with 20 truck. They are redoing their quarters

When did they move out?

Is there a reason why they did not relocate to Ladder 1 which is closer?
 
Taking a wild guess on this.....perhaps the rig could be put inside 20's quarters as opposed to a cage outside on Duane street?
 
Duane Sts 3rd bay was filled w/Man Boro Command vehicles the last time i was there.

Call the fire department and suggest this to them I'm sure they will listen and move them because of your request  There are probably a lot of other factors into why they relocated them to 20 truck.  Maybe there is more room for 6 more guys at 20 truck than Duane street
 
Thanks for the info they are out for atleast a year right ? My son would like to see the ghostbusters firehouse
 
I'm not sure what work is being done.  But figure at least that long.  The construction crews aren't  really the most hardworking people with the greatest work ethics

It Mainly Depends on what type of work is being done on the house.  If most of the work is in the truck bays such as replacing the floor which has been done in several houses and the work isn't in the living quarters there's no reason for them to relocate.  Many times when they relocate somebody else's because everything in the house is being renovated and in many cases there is asbestos being removed.
