When pressed on alternatives for a new term, Mayor Jest suggested "fire-dousers," "flame-reducers," or even "EMS specialists" would better fit the bill and would be readily accepted by the members of the city fire department.


Ha! "Flame-reducers"...does that mean we leave the job with the flames still burning, just reduced a little? Dumb @ss politicians.

NYC is proposing broadbanding all EMS titles and eliminating civil service exams. Isn't that nice of them.
