MOMENT OF TRUTH.

Hope the tears don't mess up the keyboard. All any vietnam vet would have wanted  is just this, thanx. It was an unpopular war but they went off to serve. I did 2 tours in SEA, my son did 2 in Iraq.We did it for you, for the country. All any vet wants is a thanx, is that so fucking hard to say. We put our lives on pause for yours.

That's a Great Video and a Great Story. Some of our Veterens didn't get the Thanks they deserved when they came home.

G-man sent me an E-mail the other day that told the story of one POW in Viet Nam. I wish I was able to post that.

Thanks for this go to OLDTIMER for posting this link to the video on fdnysforgotten....i just reposted it here on this site to share............................ I was there as so many others were....I was never upset about lack of acknowledgement ...I was just glad to have been able to come back & go on to other things however I NEVER FORGET  those who were not able to do the same either from making The Supreme Sacrifice or from physical or mental issues....the type of Respect expressed in this video is something that should be passed on to the young.
