I could spend some serious time just picking GMan's brain! You are a wealth of knowledge Tom.

G Man - looks like most of these old vollie firehouses might still be standing.

ROSSVILLE HOOK & LADDER CO. #1 - 2355 Atrhur Kill Rd. between Engert St. & Rossville Ave.:

MONROE ENGINE CO. #5 - 17 Brook St. between Westervelt Ave. & Victory Blvd.

Sad to see a crazy goat feed store and a used furniture store replace firehouses.  The other two look like they were done over as homes.
.

I believe E157's (Washington Eng. 1) old frame house at 51 Cottage Pl. & New St. in Port Richmond might still be standing and L80's (Port Richmond Eng. 3) at 232 Port Richmond Ave. is now a store with apartments upstairs. The large furniture store on Morningstar Rd. just south of Innis St. was Grante H & L 2 volley house. Two blocks away was Rocky Hose #9 at Innis & John St across from the VFW hall. There was also a Huguenot Eng. 1 at 939 Huguenot Ave. that was disbanded when E164/L84 were organized on Nov. 1, 1937.

robinson hose co 9 is still standing the house his all blue with a red door and it still has the original stained glass window that says robinson hose co 9 and it rumored that it was the orginal richmond engine ? which i dont believe could be true
