Congratulations and thanks for your service.  Enjoy many years of a healthy and happy retirement!

A real "INTO THE JOB GUY".....worked w/the YAK in Patrol 3 before coming on the FDNY in '68 & had the pleasure of crossing paths w/Him thruout the years....Best Wishes for a healthy Retirement.

I always enjoyed when he was up on the radio. Someone needs to post some Yak audio links. Best Wishes 123!

Any clue when Brooklyns dispatcher 102 is retiring?

I read its very soon baileyjeff. Another big loss. Hes up there with the Best when it comes to dispatchers

Queens has lost 3 Sr dispatchers in as many months now - Supv Dispatcher #30, #123 & #135

When myself and Willy D spoke with Beefman last year he said he hadn't long left either maybe this year and he'll call it a day

Btn. 32 had a Run for a Worker who fell 3 Stories onto a scaffold, 10-37 (3.

BKLYN Dispatch. Never Announced the Run - as far as I could tell... Seems to be
More & More of that kind of Stuff lately... Runs not announced, hesitant mumbling Dispatchers,
not speaking direct & clear intro Microphone Hopefully, this latest group of New Dispatchers just needs some more time & experience to settle into The Job.

Congratulations and have a happy retirement. Great hearing all the units and even other boroughs giving their regards.

Remember how crazy the city used to get on July 4th? Once it got dark, things got crazy busy and I thought my scanner was going to melt. I can only imagine what it was like in those dispatch centers. They all must have had sore throats by the end of the tour...

"jerseymike", yes we do remember. And guys like "123", "102", The Beefer in Da Bronx, Frank R, "247" I think, handled it all EXTREMELY WELL. Never missed a beat and NO Computers to think for them.

"jerseymike" there is audios posted on here of those very busy Fourth of July's. Site member "R1Smoke Eater" has posted quite a few on here in the "Audio Section". Or if you'd like you can check out his web site. Has audios and the Best Videos of the FDNY posted.

Fourth of July, 2014 tally count - One job each in Staten Island, Queens, and Manhattan.  Bronx - 2, Brooklyn - 3, and a Fourth Alarm.
