I recently saw these on the roof of a tall building in Manhattan. Was wondering what the FDNY stores in these containers.

I recently saw these on the roof of a tall building in Manhattan. Was wondering what the FDNY stores in these containers.

It’s additional equipment needed for a tech rescue if someone gets stuck on “City Climb”. Don’t think any other buildings have them.

Fdny Soc also keeps equipment stored in a Job box at the Roosevelt island tram entrance for incident where the tram may get stuck midway.
