Remembering 2001 Fathers Day Fire

Still waiting for a Formal plaque dedication at this site. New building going up there and looks like the old one will be torn down. Took it to the District and they were not helpful at all. Staying on it , they will NOT Be forgotten.
 
Continued Rest in Peace to Firefighters Ford, Fahey and Downing. Continued comfort for their families at home and on the job. A tragic, ,tragic day.
 
47 years to get the telephone fire plaque dedicated, I hope this goes quicker.

So an update on this issue. The FDNY Is in possession of the plaque and it will be erected and dedicated at this site on the new building going up there. Got the Updated info from Nomi Tinkleman Representing Tiffany Caban NYC Council Member. The formal announcement should be made soon on a date.
