Remembering FF James B Williams - LODD - 1/5/1996
FF Williams(TL-121), along with E265 and T121 responded first due to phone alarm box 1215 - 40-20 Beach Channel Drive, QNS
T121 gave 10-75, fire in 13 story MD
Apartment residents left the window open purposely to relive smoke in the apartment, wind created a sudden change in fire conditions, they deteriorated quickly. Inside teams were forced to back out to the hallway, FF Williams was found 10 ft from the apartment door unconscious and burned.
