I see Bob Galione is the chase driver? What is that?

"The Bravest" was a short lived attempt to make a "Cops"-like show for fire fighting.  Since they couldn't bring the cameras and stuff onto the rig without interfering with the members, they assigned a chase driver in a Battalion-style vehicle to follow.

I think this is done regularly for filming of FDNY responses; don't want cameramen and crews in the way, so they follow in a chase car.
