About an hour ago when the news first reported this job, there was only some smoke visible, just a moment ago there was an aerial shot on Ch. 7 showing heavy fire from most of the building.

Have been watching news since this fire began, started in basement and now has fire throughout the whole north wing of building. Live helicopter feeds showed progression of fire and how quick it spread. Still burning through the roof and probably going to go on for a while. Sad to watch a multiple dwelling burn like this fully occupied too.

When they first showed it on  Ch. 7, it was part of their traffic report and it looked like just a little bit of smoke - there were a few firefighter's with a ladder getting one civilian out from a window.  It has been a real downer to see it progress like that - with many occupants involved.

I too am amazed because I got the news alert to my phone where I saw some smoke seeping from windows, nothing crazy. I now see these videos of a MD fully involved - it IS sad. I had to check and see if this was the same job to be honest!
