Incident Location: 1024 Northern Boulevard (Prime 1024)
On Friday, December 29th at around 1:08 PM the Roslyn Rescue & Highlands Fire Companies were dispatched to a reported oven fire at 1024 Northern Blvd (Prime 1024). Roslyn Highlands Chief Of Department (5900) was quickly on scene and transmitted a Signal 32 for a fire in the kitchen. Shortly after a “Signal 10” was transmitted, Mineola responded as the FAST and all other mutual aid units were ordered to standby. Q595 was the first ‘engine’ on scene and pulled the front bumper line. The fire was quickly extinguished. The fire was placed under control at approximately 1:54 PM, no injuries were reported.
