Was watching an video of the metro north train derailment in manhatten and seen a soc suv pulling a red trailer. What is this trailer used for and what is it equiped with? Also seen en engine with what looked like a folding platform and hand truck straped to the back of it! Can any one tell me what that was.

The folding platform on an engine you described is probably the Nolan Rail Cart.  Twenty-two engines as well as the squads each have one that is loaded on the tailgate when needed.

I saw the soc compressor, pickup with a flatbed.
What video was it. The rail carts did come over but not used.

Im gonna take a real stupid stab at this,maybe its one of those Rail carts that the Uk fire service uses.
