A large residential structure burned on a very hot day in Farmville, Va. 5 fire companies from Prince Edward County along with the Randolph District FD fought the fire yesterday morning. There was a small lake about 1000 feet from the fire and the Hamden Sydney FD set up draft and 4 inch line was laid to their quint when it became an exterior operation after almost 2 hours of interior operations.
