Welcome to profit-driven healthcare in the 21st Century.  And get ready for it to get worse.

Still playing russian roulette w/the BX RRVs filling in for transcare & reducing the available SSL Second pieces.....they should have activated fully manned Reserve ENGs in the affected areas.

I could have swore I just saw a bunch of all white ambulances lettered for FDNY on the side of the Jersey Turnpike at Campbell Freightliner in Monroe. Am I crazy or are they ditching the red?

It "MIGHT" be a rush order because of the transcare bankruptcy..... after 9-11 several Excursion's were purchased w/sirens & light packages to replace destroyed Chief's Rigs but they were several different solid colors & not completely repainted until much later.

The 15 ambulances are leased vehicles to be placed strategically in the city.

Now the question is who will man them ? & will they replace the RRVs in use in the BX now ?
