As I understand it, TWO major events will occur on Sept 25, 2015 within the boundary's of New York City. A major meeting of worldwide dignitaries from all over the world at the U.N. Building and the Popes visit to NYC. Each one in itself a major logistical nightmare for those in charge of the safety for all.
Of course in addition to this, business will still go on throughout the city. Stores, office buildings, transportation centers must continue to operate. The increase of visitors to the city must also be protected.
According to a radio report recently, there have been many joint drills involving many of the organizations that will be in charge of making the city a safe place for all. Organizations such as the FDNY, NYPD, FDNY/EMS, Dispatchers, Coast Guard, Hospitals, FBI etc are all involved. There is probably no other city in the entire world that is more prepared to deal with these two simultaneously occurring events than that of New York City.
I was wondering if from my seat 120 miles away, is there any online scanner feeds that might be interesting to listen to for this event ?
