A couple of vintage photos.

Ladder 12 - Manhattan
243 W. 20th
This house was originally built for a volunteer company. Ladder 12 was organized at this location on December 1, 1865. Battalion 7 was also quartered here.

Engine 10 & Ladder 15 - Manhattan
73 Water Street
Opened July 5, 1931.

There was a survey somewhere on here in which people were voting for their favorite firehouse. I am looking for the pics of firehouses and can't find them. Any ideas?

This book is again delayed from the publisher. When I called to check on the status of mine they told me they found numerous mistakes in the finished product so sent it back to be reprinted. Will be released sometime next year (2011).
