This early morning a volunteer Fire Lt with the White House Community Vol Fire Dept was killed in a nasty accident this morning. Unknown on details at this time. All be safe out there.  :(

Was a 24 y/o male. Apparently he lost control of his pick up, went off the road into a ditch and was ejected. We all know the rest.

Where did this accident occur?  Obviously very few if any readers know where his department is located.  Was he in route to a call or just driving someplace?  I'm assuming since he was ejected he wasn't wearing a seatbelt which he should've been.  Can you provide a link to a local newspaper article?  It's helpful to provide as much information as possible when making a post, especially from an unknown area.

News link is www.wsmv.com/news/17282318/detail.htm.  He was a member of Sta 52. Killed in his own POV. Not on a call. Was at 4 am, no seatbelt. He is a god guy it is a shame. Also can just google White house firefighter killed in wreck on Sunday AM. Dept's name is White House Community Fire.

Also a news video is www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26382037/. Be safe out there

Also the dept's site which is www.whcvfd.com/ has add to there web site. It's a real rural area of Tennessee. First member lost in there history.

Funeral was good, considering the situation. About 12 Dept's showed up. Springfield's Tower and Ridgetop's Ladder held up the American flag. Was sad. Young man.  :(
