Anyone have info on this ??/ went to a 5th was during the evening around 430ish..no news channel had the story was wondering if anyone knew about it...i know it was a fire in an omd

Yonkers is a tough place to get photos. Police are not Buff friendly. would love to photograph YFD.

Happened to be in area and had no trouble taking a few photos. Lot of fire throughout cockloft

Was strange to be taking pictures instead of fighting fire, although did give 307 a hand with supply line, not ready to be a full time picture taker yet.  YFD did an excellent job of keeping this to the original building.

FDNY did not respond to this fire, they were not requested. Did see some FDNY units around city line probably had response on border due to amount of smoke being generated and being blown south towards bronx.

The rundown was All Yonkers on Duty Engines and all Ladders except TL-75 who was relocated to station 4. So it was 11 Engines 5 Ladders and Rescue 1, both on duty Battalions and HQ chiefs plus Commissioner was also on scene. No mutual was used at fire, mutual covered vacant firehouses until off duty Yonkers firfighters were called in to man reserve Engines ( E-315 & 316).

And also manned a reserve truck, L-78.
