Surprised M-9 made it in and not turned around. Shallow water, no exposure problem etc. Boat on fire probably burned to ground by the time they arrived.

True. M-9 did say they were 10-84 and that the Marine Battalion could go 10-8 not needed, but the Marine Battalion was only a few minutes out and ended up continuing in.

Maybe the thought was since land units didn’t have a water source, the marine Units could hit it from the water. Guess E321 ended up using their booster with a line.
