Killer of NYPD Detective found NOT GUILTY on First Degree Murder

This is so sad and my heart breaks for his wife and family. But it is indicative of what the city has become. Look at what the just installed as their mayor, they will re-elect Bragg. They will Re-elect Hochul, who after the election will tax all New York State taxpayers to prop up Mandami and his social programs. The citizens of New York, at least the majority of who will serve on juries, are anti cop, far left, entitled people. No bail, sanctuary city, reduced criminal penalties etc along with the indirect expulsion of corporations and wealthy taxpayers has been a recipe for the societal, financial, and cultural collapse of the city. It will only increase in tempo now like a snowball rolling down a hill. NYPD used to be the greatest police department in the country. It is no longer, hasn’t been for a while now. FDNY has held out but is clinging on to the edge by its fingernails. Thank God many of the staff Chiefs resisted Kavanaugh and her vision of changing the job. The city is in for some SEVERE financial troubles approaching very rapidly. This will take a toll on all the NYC uniformed services. Why in the world would anyone take the job as a city cop. There are so many other law enforcement agencies in the tri state area. Lastly, a truly feel for those that have come on the job (FDNY) in the last 2-3 years. One can only imagine what the job will be like in 20 years in a broke, run down city that will continue to lower standards to hire. As I write this there is a tear in the corner of my eye because I remember how great the city once was. RIP Officer Diller you served with dignity and are a hero. Prayers to his wife and family.

The once greatest city in the world. I grew up here and now sad to say I'm glad I don't. There is no respect for the city's institutions nor for its uniformed forces. No respect for the law. When I was a kid the police officer on the beat kept watch over the neighborhood and his word was law. I like to say "you get what you give" and back then we all gave and got a great place to live, go to school, play and work. Unfortunately, not any more.
To the men and women of the NYPD and the FDNY, good luck, hold your heads high and try to carry on the fine traditions of your jobs. Rest in Peace to those who have passed on in The Line of Duty. To those New Yorkers still trying to hold on, you are in my thoughts.

For those who may have forgotten:

Then we have Bill Ayers: close friend of President Obama, Columbia University graduate (of course), founder of the Weather Underground, Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and implicated (but never convicted) in terrorist bombings in NYC and the Pentagon in the late 1960' s and early 70's.

"Guilty as hell. Free as a bird. America is a great country."

May Officer Cardillo continue to Rest in Peace and may his sacrifice Never Be Forgotten!
