Rev, 3 years is a short time to wait now. Newport News ordered two new Pierce TDAs early this year. Expected delivery date: late 2029!!!!!!

Yeah Ray, TDA's are in a league of their own! Since all the rigs in the UK are all the same I wondered what their situation is currently.

From placing the order to handing over to the department, probably around 16 months maximum, thats for a standard pump (engine). For an aerial (ladder/truck), roughly the same time as the booms or ladders are manufactured overseas and are then shipped to the UK to be mounted onto the chassis.
