MD to B-7 you have L-24 as your Communications Truck

Do you now get a Truck to go with the Communications Engine?

At times due to the metal in subway and other transit stations, Portable "Handi' Talkie communications are often difficult or impossible without "Handi Talkie" equipped members placed a different levels in the station to relay communications from the site of the fire or incident to the I.C. on the street level. Many NYC Subway stations are complex, and many have "Sound Powered" telephone systems to allow communications to the street level. Both systems require more firefighters just to aid communications. Captain Bob Rainey FDNY Engine 26 retired

Kutta radios. I believe field com and all comms engines carry them. Usually deployed at subway fire.

sound powered phones are on all battalions

No such thing as a Communications Truck. Ladder Companies are occasionally used to set up a HT radio relay in the subway. This pre dates the enhancememts to the FDNY and MTA and OTI radio systems.
