Wow scott is so dumb so many departments in the Vol world go with Scott because FDNY uses them and also because in my opinion they are the best! I cant figure out what FDNY wanted them to change except for the wire frame and making them lighter!

Maybe FDNY since they already have Scotts they wanted to try the Dreager and MSA to then bring it down to the one that will compete against Scott for the final one. Just a thought.

Well said! I would still like to know why they decided not to go with Scott? I also think when it comes to buying fire equipment and apparatus everyone has there own likes and dislikes and it is extreamly hard to be unbiases when evaluating products in the fire service.
