The following is a picture of a California fire fighter, presumably from the LAFD, but maybe from a mutual aid jurisdicction. Am I wrong or does it seem that the turnout gear, particularly the jacket, he is wearing is very lightweight compared to the turnout gear typically seen in the East ? I...
